This Rock Opera appeared for the first time in 1970, from composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics from Tim Rice. The musical world ate it up, and it was a huge hit on Broadway and London. In 1973 a movie was also made about this masterwork, and since then it is regularly performed in theatres all over the world. Arranger Marcel Peeters gives us a masterful homage to the writers of this musical ‘evergreen'.
