16 year old Shane got into a horrific car accident with a police officer in 2006. Shane was found guilty of careless driving causing injury and was ordered to pay $18k in reparations. The only thing is that Shane was certain he was not the one at fault. He spiralled into depression and lost an alarming amount of weight. Shane’s ex-girlfriends father Steve Potter grew increasingly concerned about Shane’s condition and started to investigate the claims made by the officer.
