The project "Social Responsibility and Compliance in Tackling Aporophobia", with Patricie Barricelli and led by professor Marco Aurélio Florêncio Filho (Mackenzie Presbyterian University) integrates the 1st International Showcase of Social Impact Projects library, launched on November 15th, during the Build Back Better Conference.
Considering the high rates of social inequality and poverty in Brazil, the project aims to execute a cycle of seminars to permit the dialogue among institutions about the relevance of incorporating actions of social responsibility related to the prevention and combat to aporophobia in strategic compliance actions taken by the organizations. Moreover, it aims to create guidelines to tackle aporophobia in the business environment.

Build Back Better: Reducing vulnerabilities, strengthening justice, is an international event coordinated by the Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Yale University e Quinnipiac University, Academics Stand Against Poverty – ASAP Global, with financial support by CAPES and MackPesquisa, promoted under the activities of the Internalization Project UPM CAPES-PrInt: “Social Inclusion, public policies and governance to reduce inequalities”, with the institutional aid of Postgraduate Program in Political and Economic Law.
