FOREST PARK, Ohio (WKRC) - One month after a toddler was kidnapped during a Forest Park robbery, police have named a second suspect. Connell Phillips is believed to be one of four men involved in the incident.
Police say Phillips, along with Anquan Williams, broke into a Forest park home on September 25, where a woman and three children were inside. They're accused of assaulting the woman and stealing $2,400. As they were walking out of the home, they told the victim to have her boyfriend call them. They left with a 15-month-old child.
Police tried to stop the vehicle in Springfield Township. They say Phillips, Williams and two others ran from the SUV, leaving the toddler behind. The toddler wasn't hurt.
Green Township K9 officer Dino died during the search for them.
Anquan Williams is also accused of murdering Parrish Perkins in Mt. Airy. Phillips is not charged in that crime.
Phillips, 23, is 5'9" and 156 pounds. He has tattoos around his neck, back, hands and arms. His last known address is on Section Road.
