Lou Diamond Phillips and Sherman Allen were starving actors in Dallas in the eighties, where they first flipped out for the music of Bugs Henderson. In the years to come, Post-La Bamba and Young Guns, Lou joined Sherman's rock band, The Pipefitters, and often shared the bill (and spare guest rooms) with Bugs. This interview was recorded at one star-studded tracking session at Slideaway Studios. The two old friends bust each other's chops about the bumpy road to the session. It's a perhaps-too-candid look behind the scenes at the making of The King Of Clubs.
