A water agreement between Jordan and Israel is set to expire in May 2024. Kan 11, Israel’s public broadcaster, reported on Monday that Jordan is attempting to negotiate with Israel to extend the agreement. In response, Israel has stipulated conditions for the extension, including a change in the kingdom's attitude towards Israel and the reinstatement of ambassadors between Amman and Tel Aviv.
