In this video we’ll be crocheting a mesh tunic using double crochet and chain stitches.
I will show you how to take your measurements and how to use them to create this piece.
This piece it made up of four rectangles, two large rectangles for the front and back panels and two small rectangles for the sleeves, then we sew the pieces together and I will guide you through each step of the process.
What you need:
Your choice of yarn and a corresponding hook (go up a hook size if you want your stitches to be looser)
Tape measure
Stitch. Markers
Scissors
Tapestry needle
I used:
Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend Yarn, #3 Light, 50% Cotton, 50% Polyester, 7oz/200g, 392yds/358m, recommended hook size J-10/6.0mm (This yarn has been discontinued. The website yarnsub.com is great resource that you can use to find suitable yarn substitutions)
I used a 7.0mm Hook
