During the middle of the spring 2020 semester, Notre Dame sent its students home due to the Covid pandemic. Classes were taught online during the second half of the semester. Although students returned to campus in the fall, masked and socially distanced, nothing was normal.
Many times without access to equipment, students made films with their phones as cameras, their families as actors. In the fall, although back at ND, they were restricted to filming while socially distanced within the confines of campus. Numerous times crew and cast members were quarantined for weeks.
This is a time capsule of an unprecedented time on Notre Dame's campus, and a testament to our students’ creativity, resilience, and perseverance.
