A Russian journalist who protested against the war on the country’s most popular TV channel has been fined 30,000 roubles (£215) after a court found her guilty of flouting protest legislation.
Marina Ovsyannikova appeared in court on Tuesday accompanied by her lawyer after being charged with "organising an unauthorised public event". She pled not guilty.
