Free-range refers to a farming method in which animals, for at least part of the day, are free to roam outdoors, rather than being confined to a cage for 24 hours a day. Free-range can apply to meat, eggs, or dairy farming.
About 98 percent of all chickens raised for eggs live in factory farms, with absolutely no access to the outdoors. Most spend their entire lives in small cages with a handful of other birds, each allotted an iPad-sized space to live. Less than two percent of hens are raised on free-range farms, as we saw in the video.
Watch 'free-range' and 'cage-free' and imagine the birds roaming in open pastures or savannas, enjoying a natural, happy life.
If you are a property owner, send me a comment on the video. I will do as you requested right after reading. Thanks
