As one of the largest in the country, our program has helped eliminate the waiting list for infants and children at Colorado Children’s Hospital, gives hope for those who might not have a MELD score high enough to get a liver from a deceased donor and reduces the risk of dying while on the waiting list by 50% while producing better patient outcomes.
