The SMF was the first folding knife by Strider to hit the market. Strider designed the SMF with the Military in mind. Strider saw it only fit to call it the SMF which stands for Strider Military Folder. The Strider SNG wasn't far behind. The SnG was designed with edc and civilians in mind , and so soon after the SMF was born...as was the Strider Non Government.
