It’s 1930s New York, and the police have just discovered the bodies of three murdered people inside a boarding house – one of them a pretty model for a true crime periodical.
There were lots of suspects, including her own father – but who would do this to a young lady who had no enemies and was loved by all?
Her mother and a lodger were also murdered, investigations revealed that they also had no enemies.
While the police were concentrating on the wrong man, the real murderer was already hundreds of miles away….
