Pennsylvania is working on redrawing its congressional map ahead of the midterm elections, but partisan gridlock has gotten in the way.
“BNC Live” host Laverne McGee notes it’s now up to state courts to decide, a move that could delay midterm elections. As a state court showdown is taking place for 8.7 million voters, Whitlow is joined by correspondent Astrid Martinez to discuss how residents will be politically represented for the next decade. She says redistricting is about the power that voters have through representative government and happens every 10 years based on census data.
