Former International Space Station commander, Chris Hadfield visited Trinity College Dublin in December 2014. During his visit he gave a talk to over 400 students and staff in the university’s Exam Hall about his experiences while training to be an astronaut and his time in space along with a surprise performance of David Bowie’s Space Oddity. While at Trinity he also received an honorary patronage from the Philosophical Society and met with The Trinity Walton Club.
