How to get the exclusive and limited time loot from the WoW Dragonflight pre-patch event. The Primal Storms prepatch event for Dragonflight is here for two weeks only, and there are lots of exclusive things to get! During the Primal Storms event you can earn four transmog sets, (one for each armor type), collect catch-up gear at item level 252, buy a toy, get a pet from an easy introductory quest, and collect Dimmed Primeval elements to create the Unstable Elemental Confluence heirloom trinket.

The catchup gear and transmog can be purchased with Primeval Essences at the event vendors in Stormwind and just outside Orgrimmar. Farm Primeval Essences by farming elemental-buffed enemies at the Primal Invasion event sites as well as the invasion bosses that spawn every 30 minutes. You'll get more Primeval Essences from the intro and daily quest also. The Primeval Essence item is account bound, so mail it to your alts as needed! Weapons, rings and necks can drop from the invasion bosses so purchase those last if you need them for transmog or catch up gear.

The Primal Stormling pet is exclusive to this event, and you can get one per character by doing the short and easy intro quest. The Primal Stormling is cageable and can be bought and sold on the Auction House, so consider getting extra Primal Stormling battle pets to hold onto and save later, when they're no longer available!

The Bag of Furious Winds toy can be purchased for 100 Primeval Essence from the vendor, and it's a critter vacuum on a 30 minute cooldown. You can also get a 20 slot Reagent bag for 5 Primeval Essence on the same vendor.

To get the Unstable Elemental Confluence heirloom trinket, you must get a Dimmed Primeval Earth, Dimmed Primeval Water, Dimmed Primeval Air and Dimmed Primeval Fire to combine. All Dimmed Primevals are account bound, and have a chance to drop from the invasion boss of the matching elemental type.
