Rocky Mountaineer is a company that operates tourist sightseeing excursion trains in North America. The company was founded in 1990 and since then, it has operated several routes through the Rocky Mountains. In 2021, Rocky Mountaineer debuted a brand new service in the United States dubbed “Rockies to the Red Rocks”. This excursion takes passengers from Denver, Colorado on a day and a half long trip over the famed Moffatt Route through the Rocky Mountains and along the Colorado River into Utah. After an overnight stop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, the train’s journey ends at Moab, Utah, home to Arches National Park. In this video, we will follow the train from the west side of the Colorado Rockies near Bond, Colorado along the Colorado River and into Utah.
