The Tanya, written by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, is the Written Torah of Chassidus, the central work in all of Chabad Chassidism and perhaps the most influential work of Chassidism in general.
These classes, given weekly at Chabad of Cobb in Atlanta, Georgia, by Rabbi Tzvi Kilov, explore this work of practical mysticism in depth. They attempt to access the fire and the light contained within, with the goal of personal transformation and a reorientation toward the divine for all students who take these words of Chassidus to heart.
The in-depth textual study is supplemented with insights from other areas of Jewish knowledge and lively discussions.
