The Mercedes-Benz Unimog with the Mulag demountable SB600 suction cut-and-collect system can take away the grass cuttings for biomass. Without the cuttings left behind, the following seasons growth is substantially diminished and reduces the need for repeated cuts.
The Eco 1200 cutting head is designed to travel higher than a traditional flail cutting head with the airflow coming from above rather than below the blades and through the grass bed. Along with a simple chain system to scare up bugs and butterflies, this significantly reduces the number of insects and fauna captured in the vacuum.
This same system can also use the litter picking head attachment USK1200 that uses a combination of the powerful vacuum and rotating wire fingers to pull litter out of the vegetation along the verge.
