The safety of our resident’s drinking water is of paramount importance to the City of Norman. Currently, the City is collecting samples of water to be tested for lead and copper. Lead, especially, is a toxic metal that when ingested can cause very serious health problems in all people.
If you have received a letter and sample kit in the mail, please consider collecting a sample of your water and calling (405) 321-2182.
For more information about water testing services offered by the City of Norman, call (405) 321-2182, or send and email to Rachel Croft, Water Treatment Plant Lab Manager, at Rachel.Croft@NormanOK.gov
