Given the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been little research and clinical observation on the impact of the virus on HIV-positive people. As such, the Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR) is hosting an educational webinar that will feature a panel of infectious disease clinicians and pharmacists, and will highlight clinical considerations when treating HIV-positive patients suffering (or at risk of contracting) COVID-19. This is the second webinar in the series, and builds on the discussion that aired in April 2020.

The clinically focussed presentation (in English) will touch upon the following areas:

Epidemiology update on the COVID-19 situation in Canada
Critical questions and considerations for clinicians in the HIV realm
Examples of treatment strategies being implemented across Canada
