For a while, whenever you made a sharp left turn, the steering would make a loud "popping" noise. The steering wheel also had minor vibration at highway speeds. The car shown is a 2002 Ford Mustang V6. The cause was not bad inner tie rods (as I had suspected), the cause was a Rack and Pinion bushing that was not properly tightened. It allowed the Rack and Pinion to "move around" too much. I also show what a stuck caliper guide pin sounds like.
