this was originally a 24 hour collab hosted by splinter25 (who also made the layout) where we were distributed into groups to work on a part together, but turned into a 2 month collab that was crazily carried by joa, resulting in them deservedly uploading the level
he ending transition was one of the first things we planned before the timer started, which i conceptualised in after effects, and built in gd when the part came around to me. i really like how it came out
basically the 24 hour timer started when it was around 3am for me, so while i slept, flaks, joa and kcool all worked together on different elements of the part, and then passed that back to me when i woke up to work on while they went to sleep. looking back this was so unbelievably efficient lmao. after i finished my contributions, i passed it back to the team for them to polish and rework some elements. we ended up finishing our part in 2 days (it got extended to 48 hours at one point), but there were still some parts that people dropped or werent finished with, so the level got worked on for a lot longer than intended.
im very proud of what my team and i was able to achieve, especially considering we were all strangers working under a stressful time limit. at one point, my gd crashed and i had to restart my progress, which was horrible. either way, amazing opportunity and i love the level as a whole so yay!!!!
