Shooting Editor John B. Snow has never shot a big whitetail buck, and that puts him in the company of most deer hunters. And like those fellow whitetail hunters it hasn’t been for lack of trying. This season, he took another crack at finding a monster and headed to an unlikely place to do so—the plains of Eastern Colorado.
