Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of DuckTales Remastered on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Capcom.

Life was like a hurricane in Duckburg, but it was a storm we loved being a part of. That's why Capcom has resurrected DuckTales, their legendary NES platformer based on the 20-year-old Disney series. DuckTales Remastered is a feather-by-feather recreation of the Capcom classic, redone and hand-drawn by WayForward Technologies. It features the same levels, the same fantastic gameplay and the same rich duck. Scrooge McDuck is the world's wealthiest water fowl, and in the game, players get to take him on a treasure-hunting platforming adventure. From jungles to caves and castles to graveyards, Scrooge bounces on enemies with his distinctive pogo-like cane and collects hidden treasure like he's some kind of wealth-obsessed money glutton. Oh, wait. DuckTales Remastered features gorgeous hand-drawn character art and stunning animation, with work done both by WayForward and some of the artists from the original show.
