Check out Maggie Rose’s beautiful performance of “Best In Me" on the Great Lawn in Centennial Park at sunset. This month is Centennial Park Month, and we’re celebrating with Centennial Park Conservancy by sharing performances of local artists filmed in the park.
Centennial Park’s 19-acre Great Lawn was recently restored in 2020 with an underground drainage system, soil amendments, laser grading, and turf that is more durable for large crowds. Two 20-foot wide pedestrian promenades were introduced on each side of the lawn to provide more space for pedestrians and enable visitors to travel from the park’s West End Avenue entrance to the Parthenon.
Each May, Centennial Park Conservancy pays tribute to the place Where #Nashville Grows and raises funds to sustain it as a thriving public green space and cultural centerpiece of our community. As a program of Centennial Park Conservancy, Musicians Corner is celebrating May is Centennial Park Month with a series of videos featuring local artists. Videos will premiere on Musicians Corner social media channels during the month of May.
