The US spends more money on our national defense than we do on almost anything else. The House just passed the annual National Defense Authorization Act packed full of conservative priorities INCLUDING automatically registering men for the draft. This sets up another major clash with the Senate which just announced their own version of the bill that includes a provision requiring young women to ALSO register for the draft.
