Toxic family is never easy to deal with.
You may find yourself constantly in conflict with them, in disagreement with them, and/or in a state of fluctuating thoughts and feelings.
It isn't easy to embrace family sometimes -- and when family is abusive, traumatizing, hateful, and raging sticking close to them doesn't seem like a viable option.
Because of this some family members (including you) may stop calling, emailing, texting, or engaging in any kind of communication to prevent conflict.
If you have stayed away from your family for a certain duration of time and refuse to engage in any communication with them, this may be known as family estrangement.
In this video, I will discuss family estrangement and 10 things you may want to think about as you pursue another road to take in your life.
