Hey guys, Travel Mammal back down here at the Delta hotel in downtown Toronto. Now, you can't talk about comfort food without talking about a Canadian classic; poutine, of course! Here are three spots in Toronto where you can get some of the best in town.
The smoked meat poutine at Caplansky's is really quite famous and ridiculously good. Hand-cut fries, squeaky cheese curds. Even the gravy is made with ground, smoked meat, guys. Need I say more?
Nom Nom Nom. Three words that come to mind when you're talking about Montrealer Marc Perrault. He grew up on poutine guys. He does it the traditional way. In fact, here, you're going to get the delicacy as it was meant to be enjoyed.
Talk about all-star poutine. The Leslieville Pumps covers their fries with herb-salt mix, smoked beef-jus gravy and a variety of cheese curd goodness.
That's what I'm talking about!
