Irregular Hips and Valleys aren't for rookies. But even veteran framers have to get tired of the math for every single rafter.
So here's how you can find all the Hip/Valley and Jack rafter lengths from just 3 inputs: regular pitch, run, and irregular pitch.
1️⃣ Enter the regular pitch and push PITCH
2️⃣ Enter the run of the regular section and push RUN
3️⃣ Enter the irregular pitch and push CONV, then HIP/V
4️⃣ Keep pushing HIP/V for your hip or valley rafter measurements
5️⃣ Now start pushing JACK to run through all of your Jack rafter measurements
**Keep in mind that all rafter lengths are theoretical. Actual measurements need to be corrected for based on material thickness, plating, overhand, etc.
