Fan Gets HIT!!! I go for a wild ride at the Dirt Track World Championship. DTWC ELDORA.
The historic DTWC event has moved to Eldora this year. We use to race the fall nationals for UMP here every year so we are use to the wet weather and heavy race track, but lady luck had other plans. After three days of rain we finally get to do more than just hot laps. Qualifying inside the top ten in our group gave us a decent starting spot for the heat race. With all the rain I just didn't see the track getting as slick as it did for the heat races. After a little heat race scuffle we end up crashing hard into the wall on the backstretch. Little did we know at the time that the spoiler side managed to strike a young man standing at the fence. Very thankful that he was ok and uninjured. At least he has a good story to tell and a souvenir to remember it by. Be safe at the track folks, we need you to be able to put on a show.
