Session 4.4 shows how to use the Skip Back feature to go through and listen to the record buffer and extract some loops that you can then play to and layer more sounds on top of. This is as much art as science, so if you don't like my timing, blame my over use of the sequencer. Still, it's a fun way to build a track and can lead to some interesting sounds, and in prior SPs was one of the only ways to do anything really powerful.
This series is being put together to provide roughly five minutes of content, broken down into individual components. Each session will be showing different workflows in on the SP-404 mk2 with the end result being to put together at least a loose sketch for a track.
I have been working on a free guide book for the SP-404 mk2, check it out at [ Ссылка ]
