Private Complaint is defined under section 4 (h) crpc. it is provided as an alternate remedy in cases of cognizable offences. the procedure of trial of complaint is provided from sections 200 to 204 crpc. the Magistrate is authorized to take cognizance of an offence upon complaint under section 190(1)(a) crpc.
