Round two of the United States Touring Car Championship took place at Thunderhill Raceway. Chris Evertsen was driving The Speed Traveler #37 BMW. When the green flag dropped, the battle was fierce and fair. The lead changed hands many times throughout the race between Evertsen and Tom Lepper in the #30 Konig Wheels GoGoGear Racing Honda. A last lap mistake by Evertsen proved fatal as Lepper made the pass for the win. On this day, Evertsen will just have to be happy with second place...
