I ate in front of him after making sure he's got something to nibble on to see if he will eat with me. It took about 4 hours to see if anything was happening so just nibble while your doing things and on the last hour sit next to your guinea pig and make sure hes looking at you when you eat and he's got his food in front of him. Calming music for guinea pigs can help this process as well. My guinea pig was watching my phone screen while it was playing it was cute. He even looked up at me when an ad poped up as if saying, "hey theres an ad, skip it so I can watch my show" lol
