Game of Thrones - What Makes Jon Snow So Attractive

Jon Snow is one of the most attractive Game of Thrones Character. He is Ned Stark's bastard son who never got the same treatment as all of his other children, but despite difficulties and unpromising bastard fate, Jon Snow managed to become the Commander and eventually The King In The North, something even the noble-born people would be jealous of. That is only one way that makes him so magnetic.

1. Jon Snow is special. he is different than everyone else.
There is this quality about him that separates him from the others. In his case, it may be his status in the family (or lack there of), but still women are attracted to those who feel special and different than everyone else. It’s easier to notice someone who isn’t like all the rest, and somehow stands out.

2. Jon Snow is not willing to settle for less than he deserves.
Even though he was born as a basterd and was highly unlikely to be successful, he made it his mission to succeed one way or another. He left Winterfell to join the Night’s Watch, where he rose to become the Lord Commander. He was the only one who managed to reason with the wildlings. He took back the control of his childhood home [Winterfell] and, despite all odds, became the King in the North. He is the perfect example of a man on a mission. He refused to settle for the expected basterd fate, and instead made himself one of the most powerful people in Westeros, something that even those born as lords would be jealous of.

3. Jon Snow is fair.
That’s one of the most important characteristics of high-status people: having certain standards and following them through. In other words, being fair. And being fair won’t always be an easy task. Sometimes, it will be very difficult to do because it may set you in an uncomfortable position. Remember when Jon was Lord Commander and sent Janos Slynt to go and repair Greyguard, the ruined castle? Remember how he openly defied Jon Snow? Well, then you also remember that the punishment for disobeying a direct order, by Jon’s father’s rules, is death? Yeah, so even though Jon really hated what he had to do, he sucked it up, swung his sward and it was bye bye Janos Slynt. Did Jon have standards? Yes. Did he follow through on them? Certainly. That’s very high status. Remember: being fair is not easy. You will often be in situations where it’s not easy to do what has to be done. But if you want to get everything that comes with being high status— meaning the respect and admiration—you will have to suck it up and do it anyways.

4. He is not just your average nice guy.
It’s no secret that women are attracted to the bad boy types. Remember the time that Jon broke his vow and had sex with Ygrette? Or the time he left the Night’s Watch? (Sure, who wouldn't after you’ve just been killed by your so-called friends?) Still, he has a bit of a penchant for breaking the rules, and for being mischievous.

5. Jon Snow has all those important “nice guy” qualities.
Women need to feel safe. And they love to see that their guy is protective, both to his family and to his friends because they can conclude that he will be protective to them as well. And Jon is nothing if not protective. He protects both his friends and his family.
