The Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) is the colloquial name for the Evangelical Parish and Collegiate Church (Oberpfarr- und Domkirche) in Berlin. It is the parish church of the Evangelical congregation, a member of the umbrella organisation Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. Its present building is located on Museum Island in the Inner City of Berlin.
The from 1894 to 1905 to plans by Julius Raschdorff - according to the Italian High Renaissance and the Baroque - built cathedral, is one of the most important Protestant churches in Germany.
