I am so happy to introduce you to Sarah Queblatin ([ Ссылка ]) - the co-founder of Green Releaf in the Phillipines in this episode of Sense-making in a Changing World ([ Ссылка ]). Sarah and I met as part of Re-Alliance ([ Ссылка ]) - a global permaculture humanitarian initiative, we are both permaculture teachers, Global Ecovillage Network ([ Ссылка ]) Ambassadors and members of Permaculture for Refugees ([ Ссылка ]).
We also have a connection because she is one of the key leaders of a brand new program for youth run by the Global Ecovillage Network Oceania and Asia - which my daughter, Permayouth co-founder, took part in just recently called ReGEN Nations ([ Ссылка ]). This is the kind of enabling collaborative ecosystem she designs - others include Re:Source Regeneration Labs with Green Releaf, and the 4 Returns Labs with Commonland.
We also share our activism roots in peace and both work towards whole systems change through education.
Sarah is passionate about transforming the narrative of Disaster Risk Reduction or DRR, into that of Designing for Resilience and Regeneration for communities affected by disasters, displacement, and unsustainable development.
Her passion project, Living Story Landscapes, weaves traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) and permaculture using the arts and culture in designing places of remembrance, resilience, and regeneration in climate and conflict vulnerable communities. Sarah is also an artist, using creativity as a pathway for personal and collective transformation. You can learn more about her work via [ Ссылка ]
