After creating an IPTW and assessing the balance between the comparison groups, we now want to analyze the effect of treatment on clinical outcomes. outcome analysis with IPTW requires the ability to incorporate (1) weighting options (2) robust variance-covariance estimators. In this video, we perform weighted linear regression and logistic regression using a generalized linear model to analyze the effect of treatment on a continuous variable (hospital stay) and a binary variable (mortality). For survival analysis, weighted Cox PH regression is used. In all analyses, the coeftest function is used to incorporate a robust variance-covariance estimator.
