As the name suggests ,Baku Cafe serves tradition Azerbaijanian food in all its essence . The Cafe in itself reminds you of the traditional heritage of the country . The brick walls that hung bright red Persian rugs with geometric prints and beautiful Turkish plates hung all over wooden planked walls would never go unnoticed .The rugged finish of the dinning tables gives an antique feel to the whole place … totally an admirable dinning ambience an aesthetic foodie would die for …
The food was fabulous . We had Salad with goat cheese and Beef Salad to start off and then went on to have Gyurza for starter , which is basically lamb meat stuffed in dough and boiled . For the main course we chose Shah Pilaf ,which is butter crispy dough stuffed with lamb meat ,rice ,onions ,chestnuts and dried cherry plum . The best part was the Lamb chops Kebab that was artfully and effortlessly severed and served at our table ,an absolute feast for our eyes . And finally called it a day with a yummy Pumpkin Dessert .
