Sheikh Alaa is the director for religious affairs of ISNA, Canada. He has served as an imam for the Toronto community for a number of decades. Among a long list of skills he has trained in comparative religion, Islamic jurisprudence, Quranic recitation, conflict resolution, crisis management, communication skills, six sigma. Sh Alaa is passionate about supporting families and has carried out numerous marriage ceremonies as well as counselling sessions for couples. He has written and delivered the acclaimed AlKauthar course Home Sweet Home to thousands of students across the globe over the last decade.
