Fresh Lumpia a favorite filipino snack, dessert or meal. Easy to make at home.
This recipe makes 6 lumpia
Ingredients:
Filling
3 chicken thigh (boiled with ginger, garlic and salt) shred and set aside
Half a singkamas
1 carrot
1 potato
green beans
Half an onion
2 garlic cloves
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Oyster sauce 1 tsp
Salt
Pepper
Cooking oil
-cut carrots, singkamas, potato into Julienne cuts style
-for more flavor, use the boiled water from the chicken. You don’t need to use any artificial chicken flavouring
-Stir fry, once cooked, set aside and cool
Wrapper
200 ml water
1 cup flour
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
-mix and stir until no more lumps
-fry in pancake pan as thin as crepes😀😎
Sauce
200 ml water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
Pinch of salt
1 tsp soy sauce
Garnish for wrapping: fresh lettuce
Garnish for lumpia: ground peanuts
