Ever wondered what a midwife is, what they do and what the history behind the profession is?
This is a short, summary video on midwifery, mainly in the Canadian context, with examples based off of Ontario. It does not cover the vast range of things midwives do, but it does explain some of the questions that many people ask me.
WHY IT WAS CREATED:
This video was created for the Student Midwifery Funding group as a result of the cancellation of a specialized loan program from the Royal Bank of Canada.This loan that allowed students to borrow $80,000 for their studies without a co-signer.
