The Calling of Saint Matthew is one of Caravaggio's most famous paintings. He painted it when he was only 29 years old. Nevertheless of his young age, the painting is full of spiritual depth and biblical symbols. In this documentary a theologian and an artist and philosopher reveal to the viewer especially these less known dimensions of this masterpiece.
