It's confusing but you make the choice

1. CHONGQING, CHINA
Chongqing in China tops our list for being one of the largest ‘unknown’ cities in the world. At a staggering 29 million inhabitants in the municipality, Chongqing is the definition of a super city.

Chongqing is the third-largest producer of motor vehicles in China and is an important base for military research and development. As one of China’s booming megacities, it is quickly outpacing other major international cities in attracting foreign investment, business, and even a large group of ex-pats from around the world.

If you fancy yourself living in one of the most bustling metropolises on our planet, and you’re fine with the idea of living among 29 million other people, then head east to Chongqing in Southwest China.

These super-cities — all situated in the Asian and African continents — each have rapidly developing economies and are definitely worth keeping an eye on during the next few years. China is, of course, the King of Super Cities with multiple super-cities dotted across the country.

The emerging world has some of the world’s largest cities, filled with the next middle-class consumers. It’s a lot better place to invest your money — if you do it right — than some shrinking metropolis in the West.
