I met Bogdan today. Bogdan washes windows for over 25 years now. He seems to enjoy it. So I asked him for a portrait.
Walking in the footsteps of a giant, I make Richard Avedon's iconic style - the black and white portrait on a white background - mine, for this personal project that starts with the portrait of a worker right in front of my home in Berlin/Germany.
This series was floating around in my head for years now and Bogdan was the face that finally got me on the road.
In the video I explain why this group of people is especially interesting for me and show you the behind the scenes of the photoshoot, as well as the final photos together with my thoughts on them.
I hope you enjoy the video and if so leave me a little greeting in the comments.
