In this week's Video I will unbox a long awaited Intrepid 8x10 mk2 camera and discuss my future plans with Zebra Dry Plates and accessories. I wished for a bigger camera for a long time as with a bigger format I will finally be able to make decent contact prints. The initial plan was to build my own but with all the work I have lately producing Zebra Dry Plates and Holders for others I just dont have time to even make plans for the camera. So yeah I placed my order for a new Intrepid 8x10 mk2 a month ago and it arrived in-front of my door a couple of days ago. Today was D-day, I opened the package and the camera looks great! I was pleased to see that quite a few things were improved from my 4x5mk2. It seems very compact and well made and I just can't wait to take it out in the field and shoot some Dry Plates, but before I will be able to do that I have to design an 8x10 dual plate holder which is one of the reasons I ordered the camera in the first place.
