After a shooting in Downtown Lynchburg over the weekend left one person dead and another in the hospital, police are stepping up security measures.
The shooting happened in the 1100 block of Main Street around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot next to Mizumi Japanese Bistro. Manager Julian Kim said he's concerned about the after-hours activity.
