ADOBONG LABONG/BAMBOO SHOOTS ADOBO/
FILIPINO DISH/ BAMBOO SHOOTS RECIPE
Adobong labong or Bamboo shoots is a delicious dish recipe.As an Filipino and from province i grew up with this recipe aside from this dish we also cook it as dinengding with jute leaves and you can top grilled or fried milk fish.In this recipe you can also add pork meat and shrimp.
Ingredients:
*Bamboo Shoots
*red onion
*garlic
*ginger
*soy sauce
*vinegar
*sugar
*ground black pepper
*cooking oil
*long green chili
*water
*seasoning
Rinse with water the labong or bamboo shoots and put in the casserole add water enough to cover the labong bring it to the boil and cook until it soften at the liquid is reduce.Drain and cool it down squeeze out the excess liquid to remove the bitter taste.
