MIKE TRAMP´s WHITE LION – “Lights & Thunder”

First Single Release of the upcoming new album “SONGS OF WHITE LION – Part2”

After a 16 year break from playing WHITE LION songs, founding member and singer/songwriter MIKE TRAMP is back with a fresh look and the SONGS OF WHITE LION show.

Guitar Wizzard MARKUS NAND, is playing the “Vito Bratta“ Solos note for note. You won´t believe it until you hear and see Marcus playing live! Vito sent his congratulations to Mike and Marcus !

WHITE LION, FREAK OF NATURE – two brands in Rock´n Roll business MIKE TRAMP wrote history with, as the lead singer and main songwriter.

Tramp met Vito Bratta and formed WHITE LION in 1983; the band became very successful in the mid 80’s to early 90’s. WHITE LION released their debut album, Fight to Survive, in 1985. The band achieved success with their #8 hit “Wait” and #3 hit “When The Children Cry” from their second album, the triple-platinum selling, Pride The band enjoyed continued success with their third album, Big Game , which achieved gold status, After their fourth album, Mane Attraction, the band disbanded in 1992.

After WHITE LION, Tramp went on to form the Hard Rock Band FREAK OF
NATURE. The follow-up was significantly darker and harder than WHITE LION. The band released three albums between 1993 and 1998 and shared stages with Helloween and Dio in Europe in 1993. FREAK OF NATURE disbanded in 1996.

Since 1998, MIKE TRAMP has released 12 solo albums. Based on his strong songwriting in tradition of singer / songwriter icons like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty he released his very successful solo album “Nomad” and went on solo acoustic tours all over the world between 2012 and 2015.

2016 to 2019 Tramp was touring with his rock „Band of Brothers“.

In spring 2023 Mike was releasing the first “SONGS OF WHITE LION” album. The songs are rearanged and sound very up to date. The old 80´s sound is gone, but the killer guitar riffs remain.

The scnd “SONGS OF WHITE LION” album will be released in August 2024.
MIKE TRAMP will celebrate the music of WHITE LION with his new band and brings a real „Classic Rock Show“ back on stage. His still recognizable and strong voice, hugh stage presence will make these shows to an extraordinary experience.
